BUGs: Beautifully Unintended Graphics
A Beautifully Unintended Graphic (BUG) happens when you are hacking together fancy plots or graphics from your data, but it turns out you instead created a unintended masterpiece. It sometimes even happens when just using your computer or terminal normally. Not every mishap makes a BUG though, sometimes you really just messed up. Other times, the result is not what you wanted, but unintended in a beautiful way. Then you got a BUG.
Why are some pictures low-resolution or miss further information?
Because I don’t have time to polish them and that is also beside the point. When a BUG happens, its all about capturing the moment along with as much information as you can while not interrupting your workflow. In the end, there are more important things you have to attend to. Sometimes I can intentionally spend some time on polishing a single entry, but this is the exception. I choose to still put everything up for your enjoyment and to wander around this ever-growing gallery.
Artists
Not all the works you see below are my own. BUGs do not exclusively happen when you explore alone, but frequently pop up during meetings as well. So I made a habit of not only collecting my own pieces, but also requesting BUGs from people in team sessions. For those, you can find the authors listed below if they requested/agreed to be named.

So here it is. You may click on entries to get some more information on the circumstances of their creation (sometimes).
